2. Scope and description of the articles
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales of guides concluded on the Normandielovers.fr website.
The Normandielovers.fr website offers intellectual works for sale in digital (eBook) and paper format.
3. Intellectual Property
For digital format (eBook)
The downloaded files are for the exclusive use of the buyer. They may not be resold, rented or transmitted free of charge beyond the family circle and the legitimate needs of private use; any representation or reproduction of these files, in whole or in part, outside the cases provided for in Article L122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code, is strictly forbidden and would expose the holder to legal action.
For paper format
No part of this publication may be reproduced in any form without prior permission from the publisher. All translation, reproduction and adaptation rights reserved for all countries.
4. Commands
All orders are placed through the Sendowl platform. Payment is made at the time of order.
The customer must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity or be holder of a parental authorization to place an order on Normandielovers.fr.
Clicking on the “Complete order” button on the screen summarizing the order and explicitly accepting the present terms and conditions of sale by means of a dialog box, constitutes an electronic signature certifying the customer’s unreserved consent to the present terms and conditions of sale (including the unit price) specific to each file purchased. The customer waives, therefore, to take advantage of any contradictory document and, in particular, its own general conditions of purchase.
The customer can abandon his order until the validation of the payment of his order. Any order with a fraud risk profile may be blocked by the administrator at the payment stage.
5. Availability of guides
For digital format (eBook)
After ordering, the eBook can be downloaded from the confirmation screen.
An e-mail is also sent with a download link.
The download link is valid for 1 year and for a maximum of 10 downloads.
Region Lovers cannot be held responsible for technical problems beyond its control, such as connection problems due to Internet service providers or computer problems due to the customer’s hardware or software.
For paper format
Product offers and prices are valid as long as they are visible on the Normandielovers.fr website, within the limit of available stocks. Region Lovers tries to keep its stock as up to date as possible and to anticipate its capacity of supply, nevertheless if what you order is not available Region Lovers will inform you as soon as possible by means of the email communicated at the time of the order.
Region Lovers will offer you a different delivery time than usual. In this way, you will be free to choose whether to cancel or exchange your order.
6. Awards
The prices of the products are net in euros including all taxes.
For guides in paper format, postage is fixed at €5.90. All orders are invoiced in Euros and payable in Euros at the time of order.
7. Payment
The price is payable in full and in one payment at the time of order.
Purchases can be paid for by credit card (via Stripe), Paypal or Apple pay. The bank transaction is carried out at the time of the order.
8. Warranty, returns and refunds
Digital content guarantee
The legal guarantee of conformity covers any manufacturing defects in the purchase or delivery of a product.
The consumer has the right to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of the appearance of a lack of conformity during a period of 14 days from the supply of the digital content or service. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, and not the date of its appearance.
The legal warranty of conformity includes the obligation to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the digital content or service for 1 year.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content or service brought into conformity without undue delay following his request, at no cost and with no major inconvenience to him.
The consumer may obtain a price reduction by retaining the digital content or digital service, or he may terminate the contract with a full refund in exchange for relinquishing the digital content or digital service, if :
1° The professional refuses to bring the digital content or service into conformity;
2° The compliance of the digital content or service is unjustifiably delayed;
3° The digital content or service may not be brought into conformity at no cost to the consumer;
4° Bringing the digital content or service into conformity causes major inconvenience to the consumer;
5° The non-compliance of the digital content or service persists despite the professional’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into compliance.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or rescission of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious as to justify immediate price reduction or rescission of the contract. The consumer is then not obliged to ask for the digital content or service to be brought into conformity beforehand.
In cases where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer has the right to cancel the contract only if the contract does not provide for the payment of a price.
Any period of unavailability of the digital content or service for the purpose of bringing it back into conformity suspends the remaining warranty period until the digital content or service is supplied again in conformity.
These rights result from the application of articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.
Any professional who obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of average annual sales(article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects, in application of articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the customer to a price reduction if the digital content or service is retained, or to a full refund in exchange for relinquishing the digital content or service.

Guides are guaranteed by Region Lovers – 2 rue des Sauveteurs – 76600 LE HAVRE.
For digital format (eBook)
In accordance with the legal provisions in force concerning the supply of digital content services, you expressly agree that the supply of the Digital Content Book(s) will begin as soon as your order has been validated, i.e. before the end of the 14-day period, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal. No request for retraction, cancellation or refund will be accepted for the period subscribed.
The acceptance of the immediate start of the supply of Digital Content Books and the express waiver of the right of withdrawal for such content is formalized when you click on the “Complete Order” button for the Digital Content Book(s).
Consequently, purchases of Digital Content Books are firm and final. Therefore, they cannot be exchanged, reimbursed or retracted.
However, if you have not yet downloaded the file, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase – use the form here or by replying to the confirmation email.
If you have any problems downloading the digital book, please contact us immediately.
For paper format
You have a period of 14 days from receipt to return the goods to the seller for exchange or reimbursement, without any penalty, with the exception of the return costs, which are payable by the buyer.
Return procedure
Region Lovers cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns. You must inform us before sending any returns so that we can deal with them in the best possible way.

Region Lovers will not take back items returned incomplete, damaged or soiled by the customer.
COD shipments are not accepted.
9. Personal data protection
The information requested from the customer is necessary to process orders. This information and data is also kept for security purposes in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. These data are stored via the SendOwl platform(see their conditions).
The processing of personal data is done in compliance with the law relating to computers, files and freedoms of January 6, 1978. Any person registered on this site has the right to access and rectify personal data concerning him or her. You just have to contact me.
10. Liability
Region Lovers declines all responsibility in the event of non-performance of the contract due to force majeure (strike, flood, fire, off-line sales platform, etc.) and cannot be held responsible for non-performance of a contract concluded in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product.
Region Lovers has made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in its guide at the time of publication. However, the reader must make decisions based on actual site conditions and personal capabilities (physical and driving). All advice and opinions expressed in the guide are the subjective views of the author. The author assumes no responsibility for any loss, injury or inconvenience resulting from the use or misuse of the information contained in this guide. 11. Applicable law
This contract is governed by French law.
The Site, the Terms and Conditions and the Orders placed through the Site and their execution are governed exclusively by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of the GCS or of an Order will be judged in accordance with French law and will fall within the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Le Havre.
