3 best hotels near the D-Day Beaches in Normandy (our favorites)
If you don’t want to read the whole list of hotels and why we love them, here’s our quick answer with our favorites in every corner around the D-Day beaches!
Best central hotel: Hôtel La Ferme de la Rançonnière

I fell in love with Ferme de La Ranconnière. Situated in the countryside to the east of Bayeux, it’s central enough to visit most of the beaches and D-Day sites.
We love beautiful buildings and wooden beams. Beauty everywhere you looked.

Best hotel near Utah Beach

Utah Beach is a little less central, but we also fell in love with this other farm: the Domaine Utah Beach hotel. Once again, we were charmed by the park, the stone buildings and the decor. It’s a particularly good choice if you’re a lover of farm-fresh meat.

Best hotel in Bayeux: Domaine de Bayeux

A superb estate just a few minutes’ walk from the town center, we were charmed by the park and the meticulous decor that blends the historic with the modern. A perfect blend of country and city.

1. Hotel Domaine de Bayeux (in Bayeux)

Why stay at the Domaine de Bayeux hotel

A terrace with wrought-iron furniture, a pleasant green garden, tastefully decorated rooms in a traditional style, all in a quiet location just a stone’s throw from all of Bayeux’s tourist attractions. Important detail: the rooms are large, especially if you stay in the historic house. In short, we really loved this place!
