Why stay at the Le Pasino hotel (Le Havre)?
If you are looking for a comfortable hotel with a breathtaking view of the city of Le Havre, look no further: the Spa du Pasino hotel is the place to be. For us, its main strengths are:
- The 180° panoramic view: from the large windows of the room, you can admire the François le Chevalier footbridge and the Bassin du Commerce. The changing colors of the sky offer an incredible spectacle.
- The comfort of the room: our suite was spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The bed was (very) comfortable and the bathroom impeccable.
- Its ideal location: situated just a few steps from the Notre-Dame du Havre Cathedral and the Saint Joseph Church, the hotel is ideally placed to visit the city’s main attractions.

All in all, it is really a beautiful place that we highly recommend to stay in Le Havre. Be sure to check out the photos below for a glimpse of the hotel’s view and comfort.

Is the Pasino hotel in Le Havre worth it? Our review
We were really delighted by our stay in this hotel. The entire staff was very welcoming and we were impressed with the quality of the room and its amenities. But the view on the bridge François le Chevalier will have marked our spirits, we could enjoy this spectacle every morning while waking up. Finally, the hotel’s proximity to Le Volcan – Scène nationale du Havre was an added advantage, making it easy to get to events or the Oscar Niemeyer library right next door. This is one of our favorite hotels in Le Havre.

Decoration and atmosphere
The hotel has an eye-catching decoration and atmosphere. The building was designed by the architect Otello Zavaroni. The overall atmosphere is chic and luxurious, with a contemporary style that perfectly matches the listed building, a former Le Havre trading place derived from Perret architecture.

The restoration of the building was carried out with care, respecting the original design both inside and out. Thus, frescoes by Nicolas Untersteller and Paul Lemagny have been preserved, as well as furniture by Jean Royère. All this creates a unique atmosphere that invites relaxation and well-being.

The hotel staff was simply charming. Friendly, available and sympathetic, each member of the team was at the small care for us during our stay. We particularly noticed their professionalism and their positive attitude which contributed to make our passage in Le Havre a very good moment.

The room
We stayed in a beautiful suite, tastefully decorated in autumn colors that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A nod to the impressionist art that was greatly inspired by Le Havre, we appreciated the reproduction of Gustav Klimt’s famous painting The Kiss that adorned the entrance to the suite.

The equipment of the suite was in excellent condition and the spaciousness, the fine and discreet decoration but also all the comfort conquered us. We found a capsule coffee machine from Cafés Richard, bottles of drinking water, a well-stocked minibar, a desk and all the accessories needed to work or relax in peace.

Our suite offered a 180° panoramic view of the François le Chevalier bridge and the Bassin du Commerce. We were located on a floor high enough to enjoy the city lights at night, as well as the beautiful colors offered by the sunrises and sunsets.

From the large windows of our room, we felt as if we were looking at a work of art, which added an extra touch to our stay. We enjoyed drawing the very high curtains in our room in the morning to let in the natural light and enjoy the view. It was a real treat for the eyes and made our awakening even more pleasant.

The bathroom
The bathroom in our room was large. We had at our disposal a bathtub with shower, as well as care products of the brand Sothys. Another luxury touch during this stay!

We noted the presence of a bathrobe and slippers, which make the moment of shower or bath even more comfortable with a good water pressure. The large tinted window allowed us to enjoy the natural light while preserving our privacy. The toilets were separate. In short, we loved this bathroom even though we didn’t spend much time in it!

The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet that offers a nice selection of local products such as cheese, butter and cold cuts. We also enjoyed the homemade pancakes and cakes.

The selection of products offered was varied and we liked the sweet options such as compotes, squeezed juices, yogurts, pastries, madeleines and fruits, as well as the savory options such as charcuterie, cheese, eggs, salads, stuffed mushrooms and pommes paillasson.

The staff was attentive and helpful, and the view of the Bassin du Commerce from the first floor breakfast room was magnificent. It was a great way to start the day.
