1. Restaurant Les Nymphéas
Surrounded by climbing plants and colorful flowers, take a gourmet break at Restaurant Salon de Thé Les Nymphéas between 2 visits to Claude Monet’s House and Gardens or the Musée des Impressionnismes in Giverny.
Open non-stop from 9am to 6pm every day of the week, this flower-filled establishment is set right opposite Claude Monet’s House and Gardens. Choose the terrace in the shade of the tall trees, with its white wrought-iron tables and chairs adding a touch of elegance to the restaurant. Or take a seat in the interior dining room, with its uncluttered decor and old-fashioned restaurant atmosphere.
On the menu for a sweet break are hot and cold drinks, wines, beers and aperitifs, as well as chocolate fondant with whipped cream, ice cream sundaes and delicious Normandy or Tatin tarts.

The former Hôtel Baudy was a stopover for many French and American Impressionist painters during the Belle Époque. Great names in the art world have frequented this former grocery store, including Paul Cézanne, Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley and Mary Cassatt in Claude Monet’s day. Behind this elegant wrought-iron gate, the chef suggests home-cooked, seasonal cuisine in a setting that invites you to relax and get away from it all.
You’ll discover a colorful, varied and fresh menu, punctuated by must-try Normandy products. This menu includes a fine Camembert PDO tart, old-fashioned mustard, watermelon and feta carpaccio, and country terrine. Vegetarian options are also available.

Michelin-starred chef David Gallienne welcomes you to the Jardin des Plumes restaurant, a showcase of softness and refinement. In this intimate, cosy cocoon designed by interior architect Philippe Papy, you’ll enjoy local, organic cuisine, with an emphasis on short supply chains.
Following the rhythm of the seasons, the chef tells us the story of his native Normandy, between sea and countryside, bringing his terroir to life through 3 menus in 3, 5 and 7 tableaux, as he likes to call each part of the meal. Where to eat in Giverny
Picorette, the food truck of Michelin-starred cuisine
Éric Guérin and David Gallienne, chefs at the Michelin-starred Le Jardin des Plumes, are determined to democratize Michelin-starred cuisine! In their view, eating well shouldn’t cost more. Chicken, salmon or veggie wrap, aubergine tartlet yuzu from Normandy (yes, you read that right!) or a red fruit muffin, come and discover this Michelin-starred menu on the go.. The food-truck is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm, in the coach park opposite Claude Monet’s House and Gardens.
Le Verger de Giverny
This little cider house nestled in a truck awaits you on rue Claude Monet in Giverny from April to September, on weekends and public holidays. On the menu: direct sales of cider, apple juice, Norman aperitif and goutte de Giverny (cider brandy)! If you like fruit in all its forms, Verger de Giverny also offers jams made on the farm.
