Our room at Hôtel Villa Augeval perfectly embodied the spirit of a Norman villa. We were seduced by the harmony of soft colors and noble materials that created a restful, elegant atmosphere. The parquet flooring, carefully chosen fabrics and solid wood furniture created a warm, coherent whole.
The room’s furnishings were a discreet blend of tradition and modernity. We appreciated the quality of the bedding, the antique desk transformed into a workspace and the decorative details that personalized the space. The view from our window looked out onto the adjoining stables, adding to the spirit of Deauville.

Equipment and common areas
The common areas of Hôtel Villa Augeval perfectly reflect the French art of living in an authentic Norman setting. We were charmed by the reception room with its antique fireplace, inviting you to relax and read.
The private garden is a true haven of peace where you can relax by the pool. We also appreciated the discreet but effective facilities: WiFi connection in all areas and room service, and above all thespa and wellness experience, with treatments, massages, sauna and jacuzzi.
History
The history of Hôtel Villa Augeval is closely linked to that of the Montier family, whose hotel adventure began in 1979 with Michèle and Gérard. After opening a restaurant and then a hotel, the couple acquired this late 19th-century villa. French singer Gilbert Bécaud is said to have stayed here.
Listed as a remarkable villa, it retains its period facade, while the interior has been completely renovated to preserve its authentic charm. Today, Sandrine, one of the founding couple’s daughters, carries on this tradition of Norman hospitality with the same high standards of quality that we were able to appreciate during our stay.
