Our review <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completely, in our eyes the restaurant L&#8217;Alchimie is undoubtedly a very good address in Bayeux! Beyond the very tasty meal, it is also well located because in the heart of the historical center, just a step away from the tourist points of interest of the city like: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/visit-museum-carpeting-bayeux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bayeux Tapestry Museum<\/a>,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/bayeux-cathedral-notre-dame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Notre-Dame de Bayeux Cathedral<\/a>,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>or the <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/visit-museum-baron-gerard-mahb-bayeux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Baron G\u00e9rard Museum of Art and History (MAHB)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/photos\/i-SWQqsCx\/1\/4c44fae1\/L\/i-SWQqsCx-L.jpg\" alt=\"The front of the restaurant L'Alchimie in Bayeux\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What we appreciated:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fresh and seasonal products in our plates,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the chic, cosy and warm setting,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the desserts (yes, we even had 2!).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/photos\/i-fPdSJKQ\/1\/8e28d6c8\/L\/i-fPdSJKQ-L.jpg\" alt=\"Entrance to the restaurant L'Alchimie in Bayeux\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Cream of red saffron soup, spaghetti squash and smoked duck breast<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will eat<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The menu, where seafood products are widely honored, is quite varied and especially creative! From the starters to the desserts, including the cheese &#8211; reblochon stuffed like a nougat in a spicy crust &#8211; the chef&#8217;s inventiveness and attention to detail are evident in every dish. We are not far from molecular cooking. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What we ate:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appetizer: red saffron soup, spaghetti squash and smoked duck breast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Main course: fillet of sea bream, celery tagliatelle, green beans, Granny Smith vinaigrette and Yuzu pearls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desserts: like a chocolate bar, caramel chocolate mousse coated with milk chocolate and peanuts and peanut crunch \/ carrot cake with autumn spices, ganache and white chocolate crunch, lime and orange notes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we could not make our choice between the 2 desserts, we took both. will drink<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selection of wines is made up of great vintages IGP (protected geographical indication), AOP (protected designation of origin) and AOC (controlled designation of origin). Different wine regions of France are represented, the map also shows the characteristics of each wine to help you make your choice according to your tastes. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will find a large choice of aperitifs, cocktails, beers and digestives on the menu of the restaurant L&#8217;Alchimie. The interior is modern and uncluttered, creating a particularly chic style associated with the mainly wooden furniture, chairs and velvet armchairs in the Napoleon style.
