However, you can be sure that these places will transport you to an enchanting universe! It is quite possible. But we recommend, especially for the museums of Mont-Saint-Michel, not to use a stroller and to choose instead a baby carrier if necessary! It makes works, objects and legendary rooms talk about, for example, the dungeons or oubliettes. A collection of paintings by Benedictine monks from the 15th to the 17th century as well as instruments of torture from that period are housed in the Historical Museum. You will be able to admire ivory, bones or mother-of-pearl carved and engraved in the Age of Enlightenment.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Normandie-Lovers\/Mont-saint-michel\/Musees\/i-2cpGkJT\/2\/0401b021\/L\/musee_historique_mont_saint_michel-14-L.jpg\" alt=\"Historical Museum of Mont-Saint-Michel\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>First of all, we liked the attention to detail and the pedagogy around each object, its usefulness, its place in the society of Montpellier of another time. We had the chance to see also fashionable outfits from Mont-Saint-Michel. In the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the wax dolls, wood or porcelain, replaced the parades of mannequins that we know today. Parades did not exist at that time! Then come to the Arch\u00e9oscope for a multimedia show in French with simultaneous translation into English.<\/p>\n\n<p>More precisely, it is not a film but a small show with a model, images and lights. What we liked best: if you like model ships, the museum exhibits a magnificent collection of 250 antique models. Dundee, frigate, suffren, take the time to observe each model carefully.
