When you arrive, you can already admire the beautiful 17th century house with its old stones.<br\/>And once in the room, the decoration is warm, the room is large, and the situation relaxing. We wish we could have relaxed there longer!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Normandie-Lovers\/Mont-saint-michel\/BnB\/i-FmM2n8x\/1\/64ec5c10\/L\/Cols_saint_giles_bnb_mont_saint_michel-40-L.jpg\" alt=\"B&amp;amp;B Clos Saint Gilles - enchanting garden\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For gardens<\/strong><br\/>When I arrived in October, my host Tatiana told me that the gardens are also extraordinary, that they have a little air of Alice in Wonderland.  <br\/>Looking out the window, we had a little doubt, seeing a nice garden, but the comparison seemed exaggerated. Then we went for a walk&#8230; and we confirm. Our review<\/h2>\n\n<p>Absolutely.<br\/>We loved our stay. Here, everything invites you to relax. This is good after the crowds at Mont-Saint-Michel<a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/visiting-mont-saint-michel-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(see all our tips for visiting<\/a>).<br\/>We would have liked to stay longer.<br\/>But as we want to test several accommodations for you, we have to change regularly&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The house<\/h3>\n\n<p>This old stone building dates from the 17th century. It has been very well renovated.<br\/>The stones are beautiful.<br\/>The rooms are in a former workshop or chapel.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Normandie-Lovers\/Mont-saint-michel\/BnB\/i-tHLqJJz\/1\/bd8d29d2\/L\/Cols_saint_giles_bnb_mont_saint_michel-26-L.jpg\" alt=\"B&amp;amp;B Clos Saint Gilles - garden and house\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The room<\/h3>\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with our room.<br\/>It was on the first floor overlooking the garden. It was the room called &#8220;Les Lilas&#8221;.<br\/>We found it large, warm and charmingly decorated: country-style, to match the place, but without being overly so.<br\/>The bed was large and comfortable, with a view of the garden and countryside. It is structured by a succession of themed enclosures: grasses, perennials, rose garden&#8230; you will find a little bit of everything, especially if you go there in spring.
