It would be like visiting Paris without passing the Eiffel Tower!<br\/>The restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel. The omelettes are always cooked on a wood fire in front of you!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Normandie-Lovers\/Mont-saint-michel\/Nuit\/i-DCN9jN6\/2\/892a3820\/L\/nuit_Mont_saint_Michel_night-01-L.jpg\" alt=\"Auberge la M&#xE8;re Poulard - by night\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For the location right at the entrance<\/strong><br\/>The hotel is the first to appear along the main street, just past the huge gates of the fortifications.<br\/>Compared to other hotels on the mountain, there are a few less stairs to reach many rooms. For those who have mobility difficulties, this is surely one of your best options.  <br\/>But, even if it is one of the most accessible, as for all the hotels within the city, the access is not easy (shuttle + steps on cobblestones + stairs). Our review<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever the hotel, <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/mont-saint-michel-night\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spending the night<\/a> on the Mont-Saint-Michel, intramuros, is a unique experience.<br\/>Even if the hotels are a little less luxurious and more expensive than all around the bay ( <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/where-stay-mont-saint-michel-hotels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">see all options<\/a>), the adventure is exceptional. Walking through the medieval streets at night, once the crowds have gone, is like a trip back in time (or a <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/mont-saint-michel-harry-potter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Harry Potter<\/a> adventure&#8230;).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are 7 hotels in the village. <a href=\"https:\/\/normandielovers.fr\/en\/hotels-on-mont-saint-michel-inside\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">See our article to help you choose<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Normandie-Lovers\/Mont-saint-michel\/Hotels\/i-4ZChNG8\/2\/716859a9\/L\/mere_Poulard_hotel_Mont_saint-Michel-L.jpg\" alt=\"Auberge la M&#xE8;re Poulard - entrance\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decoration and atmosphere <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lower part of the main building looks great. The red of the inn is frequently used and the large windows bring a lot of light.<br\/>Along the staircase you can see the autographs of many celebrities who have come to eat or stay here.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the buildings are historic and are getting very old. I&#8217;m sorry.<br\/>As with all intramural housing, it was not very large. This is normal given the age of the buildings.<br\/>But it was functional.
