It&#8217;s very easy to explore but not typical of what you imagine France to be.<br\/>On the other, excursions to well-known places like Honfleur, \u00c9tretat and the D-Day beaches. It starts with its famous Notre-Dame Cathedral in Rouen, an architectural marvel that notably inspired Claude Monet in his paintings.<br\/>In addition, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in the Place du Vieux-March\u00e9 in Rouen. She was only 19 at the time of her execution.
