Is Dieppe worth a visit?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Yes, Dieppe is well worth a visit. It offers a beautiful seafront with cliffs and a castle, and a pleasant town center with ponds. A good balance between nature, views, architecture, history… and a great atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n

Personal note from Claire:<\/p>\n\n

I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the heart of the city. To give you some background, I am originally from Le Havre, and there is a lot of rivalry between the cities of the C\u00f4te d’Alb\u00e2tre. I grew up thinking Dieppe was dull and boring. But oh, I was wrong.It’s not my favorite city in the region, but it’s still on my list of the best cities in Normandy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Why is Dieppe famous?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

It is not the most famous city in Normandy. But it is quite well known as the arrival port of the Newhaven ferry.It is famous for its port, its castle and its scallops.<\/p>\n\n
